MU S I C Te Texas State University School of Music proudly provides an intensive and nurturing environment that emphasizes student-faculty interaction and performance opportunities. Faculty guide students to become performers, educators, and scholars. A long-standing, fully accredited member of the National Association of Schools of Music, Texas State has 90 faculty who teach just over 600 students who perform in more than 30 ensembles. Cumulatively, the School of Music ofers more than 250 concerts on campus each year. Award-Winning ensembles include the Texas State Opera Teater, Latin Music Ensembles, Jazz Ensembles, and the Bobcat Marching Band.
