Co-locating media operations in one state-of-the-art facility provides students with excellent learning opportunities. The director of The University Star is Richard Parker; the director of KTSW 88.9 is Dan Schumacher. March 2016 saw the completion of a major renovation to the College of Fine Arts and Communication Advising Center. This project brings together most advisors in the College into one office, whereas before, advisors were located in two separate offices in Old Main. The design is contemporary with demountable walls and increased seating to better meet the needs of our students. Advisor offices have an open design and are fronted in frosted glass to allow for visibility and maximize space. 42 | College of Fine Arts and Communication
