His plays include No. 6 (2017 Harold and Mimi Steinberg Award Winner – KCACTF), Lyon’s Den , Ruby’s Baby Blue (2016 John Cable Short Play Regional Selection- KCACTF), Hell is Empty (2017 John Cable Short Play Regional Selection - KCACTF), Hallmark (TETA Playfest 10-minute Winner), Stufed , Cupid , and Te Frontlines . After graduating in May 2017, he signed with the Abrams Artists Agency. “The Theatre program at Texas State University has been integral in my growth as both an artist and a scholar. Receiving a [non-endowed] Carla and Patrick Graham Playwriting Scholarship allowed me to focus on my writing; this helped me win the national Ken Ludwig Scholarship. As the 5th Texas State playwright to win the award in the past 6 years, it stands as a testament to the quality of the instruction I have had the privilege of receiving.” - T.J.
