I was interested in making images that could speak to unlimited audiences, that exhibited a high level of craft where my attention to detail would not go unappreciated, and could provide me an outlet for self expression that was completely untethered. WHY TEXAS STATE? I heard it had a top Communication Design program. I also knew they had one of the best Printmaking instructors in the region, so I hoped to become proficient in both fields. HOW DID TEXAS STATE PREPARE YOU FOR YOUR CHOSEN PROFESSION? I received key critical feedback from my professors as I treated each of my assignments as a new approach to addressing topics that I was passionate about.
