COLLEGE REPORT 2020 Te Texas State University School of Music proudly provides an intensive and nurturing environment that emphasizes student- faculty interaction and performance opportunities in classical, jazz, and Latin genres. Dedicated faculty teach nearly 600 majors and 100+ minors and non-majors who perform in more than 30 ensembles; cumulatively, the School ofers more than 250 concerts on campus each year. Te School ofers undergraduate degrees in Music (BA), Music Studies (BM), Performance (BM), and Sound Recording Technology (BS) and minors in General Music, Jazz, Mariachi, Music Composition, and Opera. Graduate degrees include the MM – Music (Conducting, Composition, Performance, Music History/Literature, Music Teory, Performance and Pedagogy) and the MM – Music Education (Choral, General, Instrumental, Kodály).
