- - - - 48 49 THEATRE AND DANCE Recent Accolades Texas State University’s Theatre program offers undergraduate B.F.A. degrees in Acting, Musical Theatre, Teacher Certification, Technical Production, Performance and Production, Film Production, and a general B.A. • #7 IN 2022 MOST POPULAR DRAMA & THEATRE • Hosts nationally recognized Texas State Black and degree. The department also offers a Masters of Fine Arts in Theatre with emphases in Directing and Design. The Latino Playwrights Celebration (19 years) ARTS SCHOOLS (collegefactual.com) department presents 9 fully produced shows each year as well as dozens of new play readings and class-related productions. Production facilities include the Patti Strickel Harrison Theatre, PSH Foundation Studio Theatre, the Jeremy Torres Lab Theatre, and the flexible stage of our former main stage.
