Faculty Accolades Michelle Dahlenburg is currently part of the Trouble Puppet ensemble for Wars of Heaven , playing through May 15 in Austin. ( http://www.troublepuppet.com/) Steve Grair presented “Supporting Divas: Opera Technical Production” at the Southeastern Theatre Conference in Greensboro, NC. Kaitlin Hopkins will be presenting a TEDx Talk in Fargo North Dakota in July. Nick Lawson has a starring role in Born Yesterday, playing at The Classic Theatre in San Antonio through May 22. (http://www.classictheatre.org/) Eugene Lee’s performance at the Huntington Theatre Company of How I Learned What I Learned , an autobiographical play by August Wilson, has garnered an Elliot Norton Award nomination from the Boston Theatre Critics Association for Outstanding Solo Performance. Sarah Maines designed lights for Ann starring Holland Taylor at ZACH Theatre in Austin, playing through May 15. Sarah Maines and Phillip Owen presented on a panel, “Collaborators Who Actually Collaborate,” at the Southeastern Theatre Conference in Greensboro, NC. Michelle Ney , Cheri Prough DeVol , and Sarah Maines displayed design work at USITT’s (United States Institute for Theatre Technology) Design Expo in Salt Lake City. They provided 5 of the 142 presentations including Cheri’s set design for Evita and her lighting design for A Midsummer Night’s Dream , Michelle’s set design for A View from The Bridge and costume design for A Midsummer Night’s Dream all at Texas State, and Sarah’s lighting design for ZACH Theatre’s A Christmas Carol . Michelle’s costume and scenic design as well as Sarah’s lighting design were selected for publication in this summer’s issue of TD&T . THEATRE Texas State’s Theatre production of A Flea in Her Ear
