TEXAS STATE GALLERIES The Texas State Galleries are physically located within the School of Art & Design at Texas State Universit y B. F. A. THESIS EXHIBITION APRIL 29 – MAY 17, 2019 Every semester, the Texas State Galleries presents the work of each student earning a Bachelor of Fine Arts (B.F.A.) degree from the School of Art and Design. Tese exhibitions are a requirement for graduation as part of the thesis curriculum. Each exhibition surveys the work from all of the School of Art and Design’s disciplines: photography, ceramics, drawing, expanded media, metals, painting, printmaking, sculpture, and art education. Conceived, designed, and installed by the thesis students, these B.F.A. exhibitions demonstrate the transition from technical and conceptual exploration to the practical application of their education.
