THEATRE Acting, Musical Theatre, Per formance and Production, Teacher Certif ication in Theatre, Technical Production, & Theatre FACULTY ACCOLADES Cheri Prough DeVol designed the scenery and lighting for the richly melodic opera Postcard from Morocco , directed by Daniel Ellis. Produced by the University of Georgia’s Hugh Hodgson School of Music, the show opened at the Fine Arts Theatre on the UGA campus on February 24th. [1] Nick Lawson will be presenting When Thou Wakest: A Modern Script for Modern Times at The Shakespeare Today: Across Time, Across Disciplines Conference at the London Arts-Based Research Centre on April 28th. Bryan Poyser 's short film DON'T YOU GO NOWHERE was selected to screen at the Indpendent Film Festival of Boston in April as well the Mendocino Film Festival in June. Caitlin Turnage will have the final public reading of her play Harbinger at the Public Theatre of San Antonio May 19th and May 21st. DEPARTMENT ACCOLADES Texas State Theatre department opened Pippin by Stephen Schwartz and Roger O. Hirson directed by faculty member Tom Delbello in mid April. The show featured work by Bobcats: Drew Barber , Simone Straub-Clark , Jordan Spena , Chance Friedman , Cameron Thomas , Mckenlee Wilson , Austin Riley , Brooke Cox , Amaya Adams , Kevin Bowman , Hailey Truong , Caleb Sporrer , Lackey Kohn , Hailey Thomas , Emma Elizabeth Smith , Andrew Fleming , Anna Gassett , Carson Hampton Palmer , Maggie Gidden , Jackson Wood , Eric Shawn , Madeline Wong Perez , Kelly Whitlow , Alicia Cosenza , Allan Lopez , Zephaniah Wages , Kelsey Nelson , Gabby Carney , Emma Frith , Jessie Flam , Alyssa Gonzalez , Angelica Clara Hadiwibowo , and Audrey McGovern .
