Trevor Berger (Musical Teatre ’18) had his flm Te God Can chosen as an ofcial selection in the Marina Del Rey Film Festival. Te flm also features Texas State Alumni Liliana Rose (Musical Teatre ’18) Ana Yi Puig (Musical Teatre ’20) was featured in a Variety article about her feature flm Senior Year which was produced by Rebel Wilson through Paramount Players. Te flm features Rebel Wilson, Alicia Silverstone, Justin Hartley and other critically acclaimed names. Te flm is set to release on Netfix in 2022. John Fredrickson (Musical Teatre ’21), Ashlyn Maddox (Musical Teatre ’20), Beau Harmon (Musical Teatre ’20), and Jake Bentley Young (Musical Teatre ’20) opened Big , Te Music Man, Te Wizard of Oz , and Guys and Dolls at the Wagon Wheel. Caleb L. Peters (Musical Teatre ’21) opened as Davey in Newsies at the Legacy Teatre in Georgia. Lily Kren (Musical Teatre ’21) opened as Patty Simcox in Grease at the Broadway Palm. Chris Clark (Musical Teatre ’19) was in the cast of Emmy award winner Jacki Trapp’s Chick Flix Of- Broadway. Payton Rave Bioletto (Musical Teatre ’21) played Marty in Grease at the Lyric Teatre of Oklahoma. Bella Coppola (Musical Teatre ’20) sang live back up for Broadway Star Shoshana Bean at the Tavern on Te Green in New York. Laurence Wensel (MA Directing, Costuming ’01) had an article published through the London Centre for Interdisciplinary Research where he participated in their online conference. Spencer Stevenson joined the cast of 20th Century’s Reimagining of Romeo and Juliet as Paris alongside Kaitlyn Dever, Kyle Allen, Sean Teale, Isabela Merced, Minnie Driver, and Bradley Whitford. Rita Anderson was included in Applause’s Best Women’s Monologues for New Plays . Rita also had readings with the PlayGround Experiment in NYC. Te Direction written and directed by MFA Dramatic Writing alumni Audrey Webb , was an ofcial selection for the 2020 Austin Micro Short Film Festival. Brandon H. Rosen (BFA 2014) and Nicolás E. Castañon (MFA 2016) collaborated for Palo Alto College's virtual, spring production of God of Carnage where Brandon served as lighting designer and Nicolás as director and scenic designer. Brandon will be serving as an adjunct faculty at Palo Alto College. Currently, he is the associate assistant lighting designer for Broadway's Diana and Hair at Te Old Globe in San Diego. Nicolás has been promoted to assistant professor and currently serves as head of the Drama Program at PAC and is the artistic director of Teatro Palo Alto. Stacey Herrison (MFA ’19) was the costume designer for Evita at Burning Coal Teater in Raleigh, where she will design I And You and Te Life of Galileo this year. Stacey is alsoTe Costume Shop Manager at the Arkansas Repertory Teatre. Emily Tyminski (BFA ’19) has worked as a concept artist and UI designer the Carnegie Mellon University, and in the fall will begin a Masters of Entertainment Technology at Carnegie Mellon. Madison Cagle (MFA ’19) was the associate costume designer for Life! In Chapters at Te John Cooper School and is the Lead Day Work for Merry Wives of Windsor at Te Public Teater’s Shakespeare in the Park. Tis fall she will be a dresser for Te Visitor at the Public Teatre. Marissa Menezes (MFA ’18) has designed costumes and scenery for Mulan and Alice for Yaya Youth Teatre in China. She was the associate costume designer at the Hudson Valley Shakespeare Festival and is about to embark on some costume design work with the band formally known as Te Village People. Ana Cobos (BFA ’19) received the Elizabeth Kimberley Fellowship at Carnegie Mellon and has served as a stitcher with the Santa Fe Opera. William Ward (MFA ’21) served as the costume shop manager for Creede Repertory Teatre where they designed the costumes for Red Riding Hood and Te Tree Watcher . Both shows where featured in the Teatre section of Te New York Times . Ryan Sozzi (MFA ’20) was the wig master for the Texas Shakespeare Festival’s summer season and has been hired as the wig master for the Alabama Shakespeare Festival. Alexander Stearns (MFA ’20) will serve as the costume shop manager for Ball State University. Karen Arredondo (BFA, ’07) Earned her MFA in 2020 from University of Memphis, in Memphis, TN. She is currently freelance designing in San Antonio and assistant stage managing for Opera San Antonio. Alison Price (MFA ’20) directed Don Giovanni in Bodrum, Turkey. Upon her return, she directed for Gilbert and Sullivan of Austin. Annalise Caudle (MFA ’18) began a new position as instructional assistant professor of Lighting Design at Te University of Mississippi. Miriah Borden (BFA ’12, MFA ’19) is the production manager/technical director/lighting designer for the Shenandoah University Dance Department. Shawn Fernandez (BFA ’13) is product manager for architectural controls at Electronic Teatre Controls (ETC), the leading creator / manufacturer of lighting equipment. Brandon Rosen (BFA ’14) is a lecturer in Lighting Design at Alamo College. He was assistant lighting de- signer for the summer flming of the Broadway musical Diana . He will return for the Broadway production in the fall before traveling to Mexico to serve as assistant lighting designer on Aladdin . Joel Britt (BFA ’15) was assistant lighting designer for the flming of the Broadway musical Come From Away . He also served as assistant lighting designer for the late summer reopening of several companies of Hamilton .
