JOURNALISM AND MASS COMMUNICATION The School of Journalism and Mass Communication cultivates strong professional, research, theoretical, critical and ethical skills in a diverse and engaging environment that prepares students to be socially responsible media professionals, scholars, and citizens. The school offers a nationally accredited curriculum in San Marcos and Round Rock. Undergraduate majors include: Advertising, Digital Media Innovation, Electronic Media, Journalism, Mass Communication, and Public Relations. Students can also earn a concentration in Sports Media. The SJMC offers a Master of Arts in Mass Communication.
