On January 26th, Ana’s screendance “TerraBlue” was selected to screen at Mana Contemporary Museum, Jersey City, NJ. She also flmed new work with Rocio Luna in San Marcos. [ 1 ] Ana Baer and Cheri Prough deVol were invited to present “blurring the lines: an exploration of inter and trans- disciplinary arts production” at Southwest United States Institute of Teatre Technology hosted at Texas State University on January 19th. Shay Ishii's collaborations with artist Catherine Lee were featured in Victor Cassidy's new book, Artistic Collaboration Today: Profles of Creative Teams in Diverse Media . [ 2 ] LeAnne Smith and Shay Ishii were selected to be the Texas State NEA Artworks 2019 applicants. Tey are seeking funding for touring the Dancestry concert and residency series and establishing a permanent digital archive of historic dance works. At the Southwest Regional USITT Winter Symposium, Scott Vandenberg presented “Producing Protocols and Guidelines: How To Say Yes More Often” with Shannon Richey and “ARCOS Dance: Transmedia Exploration” with Eliot Gray Fisher of ARCOS Dance. He was a panelist on two round tables: “Designer / Stage Manager Dynamics” also with Shannon Richey and “Lighting Designer / Electrician Collaboration” with Sarah Maines , Nick Swanson , Author, Designer and Technician Richard Cadena and Tony Award Winning Designer Howell Binkley. 8 | January & February | College News
