Stacey Hawking was runner-up for the Broadway World Regional Awards for Best Choreography of a Play or Musical for the Texas State production of The Curious Incident of the Dog in the Nighttime. Hawking also won Best Direction of A Play for The Curious Incident of the Dog in the Nighttime produced at Texas State. Peter Herzog and Eden Witvoet performed in Cinderella at the ZACH theatre in partnership with Deaf Austin Theatre. Ella Kriegel won Best Supporting Performer in A Play for her work on The Curious Incident of the dog in the nighttime at Texas State. Four Texas State Bobcats were selected for their plays to attend the region 6 festival for KCACTF. The students include Kaitlyn Moccia , S.A. Ellis , Sam Garcia , and Ryan Scott Long . Four Texas State actors will be attending the conference to read in two of the one act plays as well. Those students include Andrew Stoner , Miguel Gaytan , Hunter Domzalski , and Casey Prowell . Kaleb Quinn was runner-up for Best Supporting Performer in a Musical for his work on Hair at Texas State. Jacob Zimmerman plays Kevin and Keith in Love/Sick by John Cariani opening the weekend of February 17th at the Price Center with Broke Thespians. ALUMNI ACCOLADES Shelby Acosta plays secretary Charles Thompson in the Broadway National Tour of 1776; The Musical . [4] Dorell Anthony is writing for the popular soap opera Days of Our Lives . Madeline Bourgeois set sail on Royal Caribbean’s Independence of the Seas. She will be performing as Frenchy/Cover Sandy in Grease . Jonah Fujisawa recently acted in The Inheritance at the ZACH Theatre. He has authored three books: Elf E. Ramone , When a House is a Home , and Hidden Shelby Acosta tours as Secretary Charles Thompson in 1776 Ashlyn Maddox plays Jane Doe in Ride the Cyclone Ann Uzele will be staring in the new Broadway musical stars in Dear Edward on Apple TV 20 | January & February | College News 4 5 6
