ART AND DESIGN Art , Art Education, Art Histor y, Communication Design, Photography, & Studio Art 2 | March | College News FACULTY ACCOLADES Jennifer Ling Datchuk gave a visiting artist lecture and demonstration for Pasanda City College. Their new lecture series "Conversations in Contemporary Clay" was generously funded by a grant from Mackensie Scott. She also gave a visiting artist lecture and critiques to the University of Southern California's ceramics department.  Margo Handwerker is stepping down from the Board of Directors of the San Marcos Art League. Handwerker is the newly appointed vice president of the board of directors for the Calaboose African American History Museum. Estéban Hinojosa led students from his Introduction to Fine Arts classes on a field trip to the San Antonio Museum of Art to discuss Egyptian, Greek and Roman Art. Sarah Hirneisen 's solo exhibition, Remnants opened at the Louise Hopkins Underwood Center for the Arts in Lubbock on March 3rd and will be on view until April 28th. [1] Sarah's two-person exhibition with Shawn Camp, titled Silence opened March 3rd at ICOSA Collective in Austin and will be on view through April 1st.  Brian Johnson has a screen print showing in the 28th Parkside National Print Exhibition , one of the longest-running competitive print exhibitions in the Midwest. This year's PNPE exhibit takes place February 14 – July 28 in the Emile H. Mathis Gallery at the Sarah Hirneisen's sole exhibition, Remnants opened in Lubbock Kathleen McShane's work Daily New Anxiety Drawings are displayed in Houston Hope Mora's exhibition Pecos in Brazos Hall 1 2 3
