His wife Randy Huke (current faculty member) was set decorator. Sarah EC Maines was the lighting designer for A Christmas Carol, A Rockin’ Musical at Zach Theatre. Toby Minor received excellent reviews for his role as Dogberry in Austin Shakespeare’s November production of Much Ado About Nothing . The Austin Chronicle mentioned Toby’s “brilliant turn as the clown-cop Dogberry, with some committed physical comedy.” David Stahl acted in a production of Eugene Ionesco’s Rhinoceros for the Department of Theatre Arts at St. Edward’s University in September and October. STUDENT ACCOLADES Current BFA technical production students, Noah Allen , Amy Evans , Darwin Esquibel , and Alexandra Thomas served as technical interns for this year’s LDI (Live Design International) Conference and Expo in Las Vegas. Jackie Sibblies Drury’s play, We Are Proud to Present a Presentation About the Herero of Namibia, Formerly Known as Southwest Africa, from the German Südwestafrika, Between the Years of 1884-1915 , sold-out in the PSH Foundation Studio Theatre. The production was directed by Isaac Byrne (MFA ’19), with lighting design by Darwin Esquibel (BFA ’18), sound design by Flora McNabb (BFA ’20), and production stage management by Sarah Hudson (BFA ’19). Jayden Stumbaugh (MA ’19) was dramaturg for the show. Judith Thompson’s Perfect Pie played to sold-out houses in the PSH Studio Theatre in early November. Anne Marie Kolb (BFA ’19) just completed an SM apprenticeship at ZACHTheatre on A Christmas Carol . Molly McCarville (BFA ’19) was the junior camp residential director for the Texas Arts Project (TAP Camp) with the Long Center for the Performing Arts. Andrew McIntyre , (MFA ’19) has been hired as Lighting Designer for Goodnight Moon at the Zach Theatre. Corey Nelson (BFA ’18) spent this summer as the PSM for Spamalot with Summer Stock Austin. Tyler Osgood (BFA ’18) spent this summer as the Company Management Apprentice with Summer Stock Austin and a Production Assistant on The Wizard of Oz with Zilker Theatre Productions. Nicole Riedel (BFA ’17) is an SM apprentice at the Naples Players in Naples, Florida. She just opened her first show with the company as the Stage Manager for their annual holiday show. Sydney Smith (MFA ’20) was Assistant Lighting Designer for A Christmas Carol, A Rockin’ Musical at Zach Theatre in Austin.
