Jacob Lange (BFA ’15) has been promoted to the Manager of the Austin ISD Performing Arts Center. Tyler Larson (BFA ’16) is in his second year at UCSD pursuing his MFA in Stage Management. He spent this summer at The Old Globe as an SM apprentice on Guys and Dolls and a PSM/SM Mentor for Summer Stock Austin’s Annie Get Your Gun . Micah Lyons (BFA ’08) owns Breath of Life Productions, a movie picture production company based in Los Angeles. The company just wrapped its first SAG ULB feature film, The Runners , starring Micah Lyons, Netty Leach, Joseph Loomis, Tom Sizemore, Glenn Morshower, and Neal McCoy. Devin McFarlane (BFA ’15) recently accepted a position as a Project Manager for ETC Lighting, an international manufacturer of professional entertainment and architectural lighting and rigging systems in Madison, Wisconsin. Since graduation, Devin has been working for Texas Scenic Company in their Technical Service Department. Jordan Morille’s (MFA ’15) play, Jars , is being published by Off the Wall Plays . Benjamin Pascoe recently earned tenure and promotion to Associate Professor in the Film & Digital Media program at Avila University in Kansas City. Calling her a “comedic powerhouse,” a “revelation,” and the “real star of the last nine episodes,” Edi Patterson (BFA) received kudos for her work as Jen Abbott in the final season of HBO’s Vice Principals by tvline.com. Corbin Paulino (BFA ’15) is in Chicago with the Haven Theatre as their Resident Stage Manager and works with Barrel of Monkeys as the Company Stage Manager. Lauren Phillips (BFA ’15) is the Production Stage Manager of Cirque Dreams Epicurean with the Norwegian Cruise Line. Nicole Riedel (BFA ’17) is an SM apprentice at the Naples Players in Naples, Florida. She just opened her first show with the company as the Stage Manager for their annual holiday show. Helen Regula (BFA ’16) is in the ensemble for the national tour of Elf . Chelcie Ross (1964) recently had a guest starring role in Grey’s Anatomy as well as appearances in the films Cowboy Drifter and New Money . Rob Rowland (BFA) has been hired by Rooster Teeth Productions LLC as an Assistant Editor. Since earning his MFA from Rutgers University in stage management, Bryan Russell (BFA ’12) has spent the last year in NYC working on plays, opera, and musicals. Some of his favorite shows thus far have been Chess Match No. 5 with SITI Company, directed by Anne Bogart, stage managing the regional premiere of Fun Home in Pennsylvania this summer (directed by Courtney Laine Self), and filling a staff position at Hunter College as the stage manager for The Time of Your Life (directed by Ines Braun and under the new chair of the department, Greg Mosher). He’s looking forward to another year in the city that never sleeps. Trey Sanchez (BFA ’15) is in his third year as the Resident Stage Manager with the Arizona Broadway Theatre. Ty Hunter Taylor (BFA ’17) is playing Eugene in the Royal Caribbean Harmony of the Seas’ production of Grease . Cauliflower , a film by Phoebe Torres , won best comedy short at the Reel East Texas Film Festival. Julian Verner (MFA ’15) directed The Trestle at Pope Lick Creek at Catalyst Arts in Atlanta, Georgia. Ginna Yanelli (BFA ’14) is in the ensemble of Tina Fey’s Mean Girls , currently running in Washington, DC, before the show moves to Broadway. College of Fine Arts and Communication | 21
