Tommy Fitzpatrick has a solo show of new paintings opening at Holly Johnson Gallery in Dallas. Te title of the show is Superfux . Because of this digitally dominant process, he is now leaving more evidence of the hand, by adding texture, and thickness of paint on the surface in addition to his hard-edge techniques. By combining digital and analog processes, Fitzpatrick is creating work that instigates a conversation between what it is and how it is made. Brittany Ham had a solo exhibition at Clamp Light Artist Studios and Gallery in San Antonio in early October titled Uncharitable Spaces for Uncharitable People . [ 2 ] Brittany’s work will be published in Friend of the Artist: Volume 11 , an art publication showcasing the work of emerging and established artists from around the world.
