Gina McDaniel Tarver published “Mordacious Humor and Happy Oblivion in Colombia: Bernardo Salcedo’s Distinguish- ing Features” in Humor in Global Contemporary Art , edited by Mette Gieskes and Gregory H. Williams (Bloomsbury, 2024). Mark Menjívar is included in Flow States , La Trienal 2024, El Museo del Barrio’s second large-scale survey of Latinx contem- porary art in NYC. As part of his project "La Misma Canción", which uses birds to talk about migration, Mark worked with over 160 people in Texas and New York to create dual sided signs of welcome and farewell. He also led two bird walks in Central Park as part of the project. It is on view until February 9th. Mark Menjívar was a visiting artist in the Social Practice graduate program at the City University of New York where he gave an artist talk and led a workshop. Molly Sherman received a 2025 Research Fellowship at the Flickr Foundation (London, UK) "Invisible Bonds", screen print, 30” x 22” | Brian Johnson Communication Design program Alum, Sarah Dodds (2004), along with her sister, Shauna Dodds are up for their 7th Grammy nomination for their cover art on William Clark Green’s Album, Baker Hotel .
