Among all colleges, COFAC was awarded the third most total funding in the REP competition. A total of 25 applications were submitted with COFAC faculty serving as the project leads. The FY 2024 REP awardees include PIs (lead faculty) – Elizabeth Eger , Andrew Chen , Bethany Johnson , Heidi Makady , Vanessa Higgins-Joyce , Clay Craig , Kristen Sussman , Aaron Brown , and Ana Baer . Additionally, two of the REP projects awarded have Co-PIs (assist- ing faculty), Jasmine Austin , and Richard Hall . Congratulations to these awardees and all applicants who helped our college have another fantastic year of REP funding! The C3 Team encourages all COFAC faculty who applied for a REP in this past funding cycle and in the ones prior, to work with C3 to seek external funding opportunities for their projects. Furthermore, MatthewWinn ( mwinn@txstate.edu) is always happy to help faculty get a jump- start on REP proposals for the FY 2026 funding cycle. C3 Will Guide CoFAC Faculty Through the Grant Process Whether you are a new faculty member or simply new to pursu- ing external funding, the C3 Team can help walk you through the grant process now and in the new year!
