1 Dr. Lynn Brinckmeyer participating in one of her workshops prior to the COVID-19 pandemic 2 Josue Mora who was recently hired as a woodwind specialist instructor at Schreiner University in Kerrville 3 Pieces from Rich Harney's collection, including his published compositions MUSIC Music, Music Studies, Per formance, & Sound Recording Technolog y FACULTY ACCOLADES Dr. Lynn Brinckmeyer , despite the pandemic, has continued her work with educators, choral professionals, and music students across the country. Since June, Dr. Brinckmeyer has presented fve webinars on music advocacy for professional associations: Te National Association for Music Education (NAfME) and American Choral Directors Association (ACDA). She has also presented six clinics for state music education associations, peer university clinics, and world music drumming workshops. [ 1 ] Later this month, Dr. Brinckmeyer will be speaking about music advocacy with music education students at the University of Dayton in Dayton, Ohio. She is scheduled to present fve virtual workshops for the Northwest Division of NAfME in February 2021. Dr. Brinckmeyer served as the Assistant Director of the School of Music from fall 2012 - spring 2016, as Associate Director of the School of Music from spring 2016 - fall 2020, and now serves as Associate Dean of Faculty Development and Research for the College of Fine Arts and Communication. Dr. Todd Oxford was recently the host for Guest Speaker, Shelly Tanabe of Windplayer Services, as well as the host for Guest Speaker, Stephanie Towery (Texas State Copyright Ofcer). ALUMNI ACCOLADES Andres Avila , was promoted to Sergeant at 1st Armored Division Band Fort Bliss. Marty Lenard , was recently named as one of the Hill Country 40 Under 40!
