1 Work featured in Shawn Camp and Darcie Book's exhibition, Comity of Ghosts 2 Courtney Cone’s work featured in the exhibition, Tinking of A Place 3 Stuart Hyatt's Glen Rose Formation ART AND DESIGN Art , Art Education, Art Histor y, Communication Design, Photography, & Studio Art FACULTY ACCOLADES Shawn Camp has a two-person show at ICOSA Gallery in Austin. Comity of Ghosts opened on October 3 and runs through the month. [ 1 ] Courtney Cone’s work is currently being shown for the exhibition, Tinking of A Place , curated by Jesse Krimes. Te exhibition went live on September 22, on the platform Art at a Time Like Tis. [ 2 ] Shannon Faseler had work included in the Assisi International Contemporary Art Exhibition 2020 at the Art Gallery Le Logge, Assisi, Italy, in September. Kevin Jenkins who is teaching ARTT 4375 for us this semester, just had the article "Cissexism and Precarity Perform Trans Subjectivities" published on September 18 in the Journal of Social Teory in Art Education . Carolyn Kilday was invited to participate in Assisi International Contemporary Art Exhibition 2020 held at the Art Gallery Le Logge in Assisi. Her typographic explorations, Hope, Pace e Bene were exhibited and published in the exhibition catalog. MiHyun Kim was invited to join Tagtool Connect: Hybrid Multiplayer Guerrilla Projections at Te Ars Electronica Festival for Art, Technology & Society in Linz, Austria. Nine international artists created a live session and it was broadcasted worldwide through Twitch TV. MiHyun was nominated by the university to proceed for Johnson & Johnson WiSTEM2D Scholars Award Program in the area of Design. Te award program identifes global women leading in both their research felds and as mentors for girls and other women in the disciplines of Science, Technology, Engineering, Math, Manufacturing and Design. 2 | October | College News
