ALUMNI ACCOLADES Five Texas State/Southwest Texas State alums were inducted into the KTSW 89.9/KAT Radio Hall of Fame on Saturday, October 8. College of Fine Arts and Communication | 13 The inductees included Larry Carlson (student/ adviser 1985-2020), Chuck Miketinac (’87), David Goins (’01), Erika Aguilar (’07), and Matt McClearin (’07). The Hall of Fame presentations capped off two days of activities celebrating KTSW’s 30th anniversary and the 40 years that have passed since the beginning of KAT Radio, which existed from 1982-1992. Special guests included TXST President Kelly Damphousse and former KTSW 89.9/KAT Radio adviser and Hall of Fame member Bob Shrader .
