DANCE Faculty Accolades Ana Baer presented “Motion and Emotion in Heterogeneous Geographies – Intersection Between Choreography and Videography” at the University of Edinburgh. Kaysie Seitz Brown and Michelle Nance presented “Integrating the Performing Arts into the Public School System” at the Athens Institute for Education and Research in Greece. Over the summer, Shay Ishii’s Dance Company performed Dancestry , a celebration of dance history, showcasing works by Isadora Duncan, Erick Hawkins, and Loïe Fuller. They played to sold- out audiences at the Long Center in Austin and reprised their work at Texas State University in the fall. Christa Oliver performed in Sophisticated Ladies at the Zach Theatre in Austin, and will choreograph their holiday production of A Christmas Carol .
