research article, “Further Understanding Sexual Communication: Honesty, Deception, Safety, and Risk” was quoted in an article appearing on Mic. com, while Buzzfeed referenced his research article, “Understanding Work/Life Blending: Credibility Implications for Those Who Date at Work.” His research was also recently featured in The Wall Street Journal and The Australian . Roseann Mandziuk recently presented a research paper at the Alta Conference on Argumentation entitled: “Counterpublics and Contested Memories: Professional Historians, the National Women’s History Museum, and the Struggle to Articulate a Women’s Past . ” She also served on the Environment Grant Focus Area committee for Impact Austin, a women’s philanthropy organization. Melinda Villagran and two co-authors published an article in Journal of Health Communication entitled, “Women’s Health Identities in the Transition From Military Member to Service Veteran . ” Student Accolades Lauren Cafferty presented a paper proposal to the International Association for Relationship Research mini-conference entitled “The Communication of HIV Status to Romantic Partners: A Pilot Study in Botswana.” Dana Dinsmore presented a paper to the International Association for Relationship Research mini-conference entitled “A Dyadic Examination of Social Influence and Relational Quality Regarding Health Dependent Diets.” This paper was co- authored with another M.A. alum, Page Draper and Dr. Tricia Burke .
