Te eldest, Marie Dolezalova Supikova, 86, testifed at the Nuremberg Trials in 1947, when she was 15. Te interviews are a component of Clark’s research/writing project about the village site as a memorial to victims of all wars. In May, she presented an editing program to student journalists at Dripping Springs High School in conjunction with #Press4Education, a program of the Society of Professional Journalists. [1] In April, she attended the annual conference of the American Copy Editors Society. Dr. Vanessa de Macedo Higgins Joyce was selected as one of the recipients for the Latino/Latin American Communication Research Award at AEJMC 2018 for her submission titled Seeking Transnational, Entrepreneurial News from Latin America: An Audience Analysis, with co- author Dr. Summer Harlow. [2] Her study on entrepreneurial journalists, Independent voices of entrepreneurial news: Setting a new agenda in Latin America was published by Palabra Clave , 4th leading journal in journalism and communication in Latin America. Dr. Sandy Rao’s article (coauthored with Zeny Sarabia- Panol, Chinna Natesan and Charlotte Singleton) titled, “A Comparative Analysis of Twitter Data in the Aftermath of Floods in India and the Philippines Using the Participatory Communication Model,” has been published in the Spring 2018 issue of the refereed journal, International Communication Research Journal . Over the summer, Dr. Shawna White , published an article entitled “Improving school policing programmes through strategic collaboration” in the journal Policing: A Journal of Policy and Practice .
