Te show plays through October 28. Greg Bolin wrote additional orchestrations and arrangements for Second Story Repertory Teater’s premiere of Te Last Starfghter . [1] Carl Booker designed the costumes for Zilker Teatre’s production of All Shook Up . Linda Nenno Breining directed for the 5th Annual One-Minute Play Festival in Austin in August. She also stars in the new comic short flm, Sleepover , written and directed by Susan Busa. Te flm was chosen to be a part of the Texas Women’s Film Festival in Dallas in August and Austin’s Comic Short Film Festival in September. Cheri Prough DeVol created the scenic and lighting designs for the Zilker Summer Musical All Shook Up , which ran in Austin from July through August. [2] Te Broadway World review described the design as “vibrant and whimsical. Te structured steel-like set fexibly fts the show’s settings including a diner, museum, and an amusement park. Te set is an achievement, especially when paired with DeVol’s atmospheric lighting.” Cheri also collaborated this summer with artists from the Teatre and Dance Department and Coletiva Teatro, on the design of a devised theatrical piece called Una Sonata Familiar that premiered at the Texas State Mainstage Teatre. Kate Glasheen presented her original research “Negotiating the Craft of the Triple Treat” at the joint VASTA/PAVA (Voice and Speech Trainers Association/ Pan American Vocology Association) conference in Seattle. She was also invited to write a conference plenary article, to be published in the November issue of the Voice & Speech Review . Kate also performed as Hermia with Austin Shakespeare in their July co-production with 16 | September | College News
