Acting 2015) graduated with an MFA in Acting from Penn State in 2017. She was cast in Marie and Rosetta at the Detroit Public Teatre and recently returned to Texas State as a guest artist at the Black and Latino Playwrights Conference. Jordan Morille’s play Tiger Barb was a fnalist and produced as part of the Samuel French Of-Of Broadway New Play Festival in NYC. Jordan has an M.F.A. in Dramatic Writing from Texas State. Mandy Murphy’s play Valer was produced at the Connelly Teatre in New York City as part of the SheNYC Summer Teatre Festival. Ryne Nardecchia (B.F.A. Musical Teatre 2017) is playing Perchick in the frst national tour of Bartlett Sher’s Fiddler on the Roof . Chase Naylor (B.F.A. Acting 2017) is a member of Te Playground Experiment in NYC. He is represented by the Roster Agency. Melanie Notinger (B.F.A. Acting 2015) is living in NYC. Her short flm, Choke Artist , screened at the East Village Queer Film Festival and the Iron Mule Short Comedy Series in Brooklyn. [7] She was commissioned by the Iron Mule to conceive and complete another short, Cufng Season . Melanie played the lead in the upcoming short I Enjoy Being a Girl with Kathryn Kates. Her heartfelt comedy about using people, Brooklyn No-Names , will premiere in the SheNYC Summer Teater Festival 2018 (co-writer Marisa Jones , alum 2016). She’s currently in pre-production for her next short flm, Dress Code . Nicolas Ortiz (B.F.A. Acting 2015) is now working in NYC. Recent credits include D.O.C. at the Hudson Guild Teater, All About Power at the Duo Multicultural Arts Center, and La Gota Fria at the Talia Teater, as well as Knights of New York , a short flm, Dominican York , a web series, and Mysteries of the Museum on the Discovery Channel. 22 | September | College News
