BANDS CENTENNIAL YEAR Celebrating 100 years of bands at Texas State Universit y! 1 9 1 9 - 20 1 9 We enjoyed a very successful, exciting "Centennial StepOf" on the frst home football game as the BMB was joined by the Bobcat Alumni Marching Band made up of about 210 attendees (over twice as many as we've ever hosted) and including former BMB director Jim Hudson (currently the marching band director at Arizona State University). Each attendee received a nice Band Centennial polo shirt as their 'uniform' and souvenir. Te alumni had a light-hearted, fun rehearsal on their own, a rousing rehearsal with the BMB, great social time at a catered BBQ luncheon in the PERF lobby, and a fantastic time at the game performing in the stands and at halftime. Tose attending expressed at the time as well as later on social media and through email how much they enjoyed the experience.
