Jordan has an M.F.A. in Dramatic Writing from Texas State. A to Double D , a play by Mandy Murphy (B.F.A., Acting) will be a part of the 2019-2020 season at THML Teatre in New York City. Ryne Nardecchia (’17) completed his year long run as Perchik in the national tour of Fiddler on the Roof . [ 7 ] Dress Code , a movie written, directed, and produced by Melanie Notinger (B.F.A., Acting) was chosen for a screening at the Art of Brooklyn Film Festival in June. Melanie worked with alums Madalyn Boyd (Costume Designer), Diane Meo (Associate Producer), Sarah Mullinnix (Production Design), Jeanette Nevarez (Still Photographer) and Emily Tyminski (Wardrobe Assistant). Te cast featured Texas State alums Tyler George , Carlos Rodriguez , Jordan Marie Ford , Kelsey Moringy , and Jake Milan , as well as Texas State students Amanda Carpenter , Aubrey Clyburn , and Emily Absher . Te cast also included Texas State Faulty member, Laura Lane . [8] Nick Ortiz (B.F.A., Acting) was cast as Lucio in the University of Colorado, Colorado Springs summer production of Measure of Measure . Claire Parker (M.F.A., Directing) is teaching theatre at a private, prep boarding school in Winchendon, MA. Timothy Retzlof (Performance and Production, 2008) has been named the Tobin Teatre Arts Fund Assistant Curator for the McNay Art Museum in San Antonio. He recently co-curated (with R. Scott Blackshire and Jody Blake) Picasso to Hockney: Modern Art on Stage, Painting the Stage (with René Paul Barilleaux), and America on Stage (also with René Paul Barilleaux). Sid Rushing , a graduate of the M.F.A. program in Dramatic Writing, received a TV Diversity Scholarship from Writer’s Boot Camp in Los Angeles to develop his TV pilot, Struts .
