Nicole Soria ’s thesis film Familia Alocada and Jasmine Aurelio ’s thesis film Tabo were both accepted into the Student World Impact Film Festival. Soria's film also played at the Lift Off Global Film Festival. Cameron Thomas opened Sister Act at The Many in August. Hailey Thomas and Zephaniah Wages opened Once on this Island at Pittsburgh CLO as Eruile and Agwe. Zephaniah Wages opened Natasha, Pierre & The Great Comet of 1812 at Pittsburgh CLO. Zephaniah also performed in Guys and Dolls at Pittsburgh CLO over the summer. [4] ALUMNI ACCOLADES Paul Amrani (MT 2022) performed in CityDanceNY’s production of Cinderella . Taylor Aronson opened as Cynthia Weil in Beautiful: The Carole King Musical at Tuacahn Center for the Arts. [5] Alex Aponte (MT 2022) opened West Side Story at Lyric Opera of Chicago. Trevor James Berger (MT 2018) performed as Jack in Into the Woods at the Guthrie Theatre. Maggie Bera (MT 2017) opened as Tammy in Escape to Margaritaville at the John W. Engeman Theatre. Sam Beckman (MT 2023) opened The Prom at the Lyric Theatre of Oklahoma. Michael Burrell (MT 2017) and Anyae Anasia (Mt 2023) opened The Full Monty at Transcendence Theatre Company. Jacob Burns (MT 2019) made their broadway debut in previews of Once Upon a One More Time . Elizabeth Brady (MT 2017) performed in Nine: in concert at the Kaufman Music Center.
