Stephen Brower (MT 2015), Lily Kren (MT 2021), and Brandon Rosen began previews of The Who’s Tommy at Chicago’s Goodman Theatre in June. Chris Clark (MT 2019) opened Jersey Boys as Tommy Devito in August at Theatre by the Sea. Nick Eibler (MT 2019) produced the sold out performance of Queer to Tell : Austin in August. Peter Gonzales Falcon passed away this summer. His many credits included starring in Federico Fellini’s Roma (1972) and more recently in Tiramisu for Two (2016). Anna Gassett played Victoria in Cats at MT Wichita over the summer. Anna also performed in Ragtime as Evelyn Nesbit. Anna Gassett opened Chess at The Muny in July. Laura Sky Herman participated in an industry presentation of The White Rose: The Musical at Open Jar studios. Laura Sky Herman performed as Zaneeta in Broadway Sacramento’s The Music Man Peyton Herzog (MT 2023) participated in the developmental workshop of A Nancy Drew Musical: The Mystery at Spotlight Manor as Leo. Austin Owens Kelly (MT 2021) made their off broadway debut in In Corps at Theatre Row. Micaela Lamas (MT 2021)performed in 54 Below’s The Glee Version in August. Ashlyn Maddox (MT 2020) performed in the reading of Frank Wildhorn’s new musical The Song of Bernadette as Bernadette. Corbin Paulino is the Assistant Stage Manager for The Lehman Trilogy at Timeline Theatre in Chicago. Jeremiah Porter began previews of Evita at the American Repertory Theatre in May. Anna Yi Puig (MT 2020) will star in the upcoming 10 part series Goosebumps on Disney+. Kaycee Swierc began her John Wells Fellowship at Carnegie Mellon University in their three year MFA directing program. Jon Stringer , in July and August, was the headline comedian for a week-long run at the Laugh Factory: Reno, followed by a week-long run at Laugh Factory: Las Vegas. Valoneecia Tolbert 's play Tales of a Blerd Ballerina will be featured at the United Solo Performance Festival on October 27th in New York. Patrick Torres is the Executive Director at Creative Action in Austin; they were recently featured in EASTside magazine. Making a Difference {Creative Action} - EASTside Magazine. Colin Trudell (MT 2021) performed in Head Over Heels at the Zach Theatre in Austin. [6] Jake Bentley Young (MT 2020) opened Rent at Broadway Sacramento in August. Jake Bentley Young (MT 2020 was in Beautiful at North Shore Musical Theatre. Anna Uzele (MT 2018), Preston Perez (MT 2022), and Rachel Webb (MT 2020) all performed on the Tony Awards in June.
