2 | September | College News ART AND DESIGN Art , Art Education, Art Histor y, Communication Design, Photography, & Studio Art FACULTY ACCOLADES Joey Fauerso's solo show Bedroom Paintings is currently on view at Ruby City Museum through May 2026. This exhi- bition highlights Fauerso's work acquired for the permanent collection of Ruby City and is accompanied by a catalog. The artist will be giving a talk and walkthrough of the exhi- bition on January 24th, 2026. It was listed in the 'Top Five' on the Texas art website Glasstire. [1] • Joey Fauerso's work will be included in the exhibition Houses to Homes at the McNay Museum of Art opening October 15th. The artist will be giving a talk on their work on October 16th at the McNay. • Joey Fauerso will give a lecture in September as part of the University of Buffalo Department of Art Visiting Speaker Series. • Joey's Fauerso's 4-channel video You Destroy Everything I Make , was recently installed in the contemporary galleries of the Blanton Museum of Art as part of the Blanton's permanent collection. • Joey Fauerso's work will be included in the exhibition Collect it Forever in conjunction with the Untitled art fair, curated by Robert Hodge and India Lovejoy. Tommy Fitzpatrick will have 8 new paintings in an exhi- bition titled Houses to Homes at the McNay Museum of Art in San Antonio. The exhibition runs from October 15th through January 18th. "Take Care", new work by Sarah Hirneisen & Tammie Rubin is on view at ICOSA Collective in Austin, through September 13th. Ariel "Aryel" René Jackson curated Ritualware , the final Cage Match Project installation, and collaborated with Assistant Curator Diar Enayatpour to secure city funding for CMP’s first artist residency, organize the Open Call appointing Manik Raj Nakra as curator, and facilitate weekly mentorship for resident artist Ariana Kimball from CMP alum artists.
