Kurt Engh was featured in a Minnesota Public Radio article about his creative process and career in theatre STUDENT ACCOLADES Michael Aguilar , Emma Bayless , Emma Davis , Catherine Kenner , Anna Martinez Medina , and AJ Rose attended the Kennedy Center American College Theatre Festival in Wash- ington D.C. earning the honor at the regional festival. The following awards were earned at this national conference: [7] Michael Aguilar (BFA Technical Production ‘25), 1st Place, National Costume Design Award for Oh, to Be Pure Again . Emma Bayless (MFA Lighting / Scenic Design 2025), 1st Place, National Scenic Design Award for Our Town . Catherine Kenner (BFA Technical Production 2026), 3rd Place, National Sound Design Award for Small Mouth Sounds . AJ Rose (MFA Lighting Design '26) 1st Place, National Light- ing Design Award for Small Mouth Sounds . Kayla Alonzo (Technical Production ‘26) will be Production Stage Manager at Palabrandar Theatre for Boleros for the Disenchanted this summer. Paige Blackwell (MFA Lighting Design ’25) was a finalist for the Hemsley internship and presented their work as part of the Hemsley Lighting Portfolio Review in New York City. Kierstyn Born (Performance & Production ‘25) will be work- ing for the AISD Summer Theatre Series this summer. Ivy Clamons (Technical Production ‘26) will be Production Stage Manager at Bandwagon Arts for Since We’ve No Place to Go as well as Production Assistant at ZACH Theatre for Wiz- ard of Oz this summer. Levi Coakley (Performance & Production P ‘25) will be the Looney Tunes & Justice Leage character Stage Manager at Six Flags Fiesta Texas this summer. Kamryn Coleman (Technical Production ‘27) was Production Assistant at Heller Awards in April. Emily Cook (Technical Production’26) will be the Props Intern at the Texas Shakespeare Festival in Kilgore, Texas this summer. Emma Davis (Performance & Production '26) was selected as a Stage Directors and Choreographers national finalist to attend the national conference at Kennedy Center in April. There she attended workshops and networked with professional directors and theatre companies and received a one-year associ- ate membership to the SDC Union. Olivia Dockens (Technical Production ‘26) will be Lead Car- penter at Maples Repertory Theatre this summer.
