Emma Frith (BFA Technical Production ‘26) completed the Stage Management Internship at Ballet Austin and was Pro- duction Assistant at Heller Awards this spring. This summer, Emma will be Production Stage Manager at Texas! Outdoor Musical . Samara Gonzalez (Technical Production ‘28) will be Stage Manager at SeaWorld this summer. Miranda Treviño Grauzas ( Performance & Production '25) was awarded the First Prize for her presentation "Visualizing Aura : A Cinematic Adaptation of Carlos Fuentes' Goth- ic Novel" at the multidisciplinary undergraduate research conference that highlights original works related to Texas, the Southwestern United States, and Northern Mexico hosted by the Center for the Study of the Southwest, CSSW, at Texas State. Kaitlyn Hartnagel (Technical Production ’25) was the Props Supervisor for the 24-25 Season for Jarrott Productions in Austin. She is also the props supervisor at Creede Repertory Theatre in Creede, Colorado this summer. Cade Huslig (Technical Production '25) will serve as Lead Scenic Carpenter at Colorado Shakespeare Festival in Boulder, Colorado this summer. Catherine Kenner (Technical Production ‘26) will be Sound Intern at Pacific Conservatory Theatre this summer. Quinn Kent (Technical Production '25) will serve as Assis- tant Technical Director at Cape Playhouse in Massachusetts this summer. Tyler Korock (Production and Performance) won the Holly- wood Stage Script Film Competition for his short film script, Wild Orange, Hot Blue . Chase Marrs (Technical Production '27) will serve as Scenic Carpenter at Colorado Shakespeare Festival in Boulder, Colo- rado this summer. Ana Martinez Medina (MFA Directing '26) was awarded as an SDC finalist to go to the Kennedy Center American Col- lege Theatre Festival, KCACTF, Nationals and taught a work- shop on the Identity-Conscious Theatremaker to students and faculty from all over the region during the regional session. As a regional awardee, Ana then travelled to Washington D.C. to the KCACTF Nationals and took various workshops includ- ing “Physical Theatre and Direction” by Carlos Cruz Casas and “Building Ensemble and Incorporating Intimacy Direc- tion” by Mya Brown. [8] Madison Montagne (Technical Production ‘25) will be Props Stage Supervisor at Des Moines Metro Opera this summer. Myles Rodriguez (Technical Production ‘26) will be Electri- cian and Stagehand at Texas! Outdoor Musical this summer. Audrey Smith (Technical Production’25) will be the year- long Prop & Paint Intern at Florida Studio Theatre in Saraso- ta, Florida. KayCi Wolf (Performance & Production ‘25) is a Cody Renard Richard Scholarship Program recipient and will be Production Stage Manager at Teatro Audaz San Antonio for The Importance of Being Earnest this summer. ALUMNI ACCOLADES Frida Cantu ('25) is making her debut with the Georgetown Palace in their production of Our Lady of the Tortilla by Luis Santeiro as Dolores. Performances begin May 2nd and run through June 1st at the Georgetown Playhouse. Ruben Cruz (Technical Production ‘23) was Stage Manager at Texas Ballet Theatre for International Woman this spring. Bradon Doan (Performance & Production '23) completed an apprenticeship with Broadway Across America x Building the Change Coalition, sponsored by the John Gore Organization. He was one of twelve apprentices from across North America to participate in a 16-week program focused on the business of touring Broadway productions. Brandon was based in the Houston office, which manages multiple markets and cities. The internship concluded with a trip to New York City. Cur- rently, Brandon is working at NASA / Space Center Houston, coordinating speakers and events in the Public Programming department. Kurt Engh (Acting ’16) was featured in a Minnesota Public Radio article about his creative process and career in theatre: “When process is enough: One artist reframes what success feels like.” [9] Sarah Hudson (Technical Production ‘18) was Production Stage Manager at ZACH Theatre for Bob & Jean : A Love Story this spring.
