NCECA's 59th Annual Conference, Formation, in Utah from March 26-29. See program here. [7] Tammie Rubin led a perspective tour at The Contempo- rary Austin reviewing the exhibition Flags of our Mothers by artist Raven Halfmoon (Cado Nation) on Saturday, April 19th. Tammie Rubin has curated an exhibition at grayDUCK Gallery in Austin. Opening on April 12th, the show is up until May 11th. In this exhibition, Vessel | Body | Home , each artist tells compelling stories about being human through crafted objects and sculptural renderings that suggest the body as a container, object parts, reflections, and domestic spaces. [8] STUDENT ACCOLADES Students in Professor Duttweiler's Design for Experience course in fall 24 and spring 25 semesters partnered with the City of San Marcos to merge technology and creativ- ity, adding a fresh layer of interactivity to the city's pub- lic art. In this collaboration, students worked to design Augmented Reality (AR) components for over 30 public art installations across San Marcos. Each student selected one artwork to enhance with a digital experience, creating animations, interactive elements, or information overlays. These experiences are accessible through QR codes placed at the following locations, allowing residents and visitors to use their smartphones to interact with the art.
