REFERENCES TO SALVADOR DALI MAKE ME HOT Brandon Newton (M.F.A., Scenic Design 2018) has been hired as Scenic Designer and Art Director for Busch Gardens. Trevor Roderick (B.F.A., Musical Teatre 2013) is currently on the national tour of Te King and I . Annie Wallace (B.F.A., Musical Teatre 2014) is currently on the national tour of Aladdin . JANUARY 31 – FEBRUARY 3 DEPARTMENT ACCOLADES Teatre and Dance's productions of Cabaret [6] and Ragtime made the American-Statesman’s top 10 list for Best Teatrical Productions in 2018. Frank Benge of Broadway World – Austin , also mentioned both shows in his “Top Ten Austin Teatrical Experiences of 2018.” In addition, Mr. Benge included Te Curious Incident of the Dog in the Night-Time , a Zach production with B.F.A. Acting Major, Preston Straus , playing the lead role. Pat ti Strickel Theatre Per forming Arts Center References to Salvador Dali Make Me Hot , directed by Alex Rodriguez (M.F.A., Directing), played to sold- out houses in the PSH Studio Teatre in early February. Te production had scenic design by Miriah D. Borden (M.F.A., Design), lighting design by Jessie Walser Castro (B.F.A., Technical Production), sound design by Timothy Norris (B.F.A., Technical Production) and costume Design by WilliamWard (M.F.A., Design). Laura Gutierrez (B.F.A., Technical Production) was Production Stage Manager and Matthew Vo (B.F.A., Acting ) composed the music.
