College of Fine Arts and Communication | 21 Boys at the San Pedro Playhouse in San Antonio, Unexpressed: A Cabaret at the Street Theatre in Nashville Tennessee, the Season Announcement as a soloist at the Zach Theatre in Austin, and as a singer at the Limelight fundraising gala at the Zach Theatre. This summer Warren was also busy directing Lizard Boy at the Street Theatre in Nashville, Hairspray at the San Pedro Playhouse in San Antonio, and Mary Poppins for Summer Stock Austin in Austin. STUDENT ACCOLADES Marsail Abuaita (BFA Technical Production ’25) was a scenic artist for Violet at Auburn University this spring. Michael Aguilar (BFA Technical Production’25) was head stitcher, wardrobe supervisor, and costume designing clue at Maple Repertory Theatre this summer. Janelle Lee Austin’s (Film) half-hour TV pilot BB y GOR- DO was a finalist in the Shore Scripts 2025 TV mentorship program. Ethan Bauer (BFA Technical Production ’27) was an over- hire stagehand at Austin Event Lighting this summer. Kirene Bolsen-Long (Pre-Theatre, Film Concentration ’27) received multiple international festival honors this summer through projects created in her coursework. Her psychological thriller The Whistler (for Directing for Film with Taniel Kilijian) earned Honorable Mention at the ATX Short Film Showcase, Official Selection at Horrific Women in Film Festival, Official Selection and Best Horror at the New York Tri-State International Film Festival, and three awards at the Independent Horror Movie Awards: Official Selection, Best Original Concept, and nomination for Best Atmosphere. Her silent short T-Rex in Repose (for The Birth of Cinema in France with Elizabeth Buckley and Susan Busa) was an Of- ficial Selection and Best Silent Film winner at the New York Tri-State International Film Festival. Her screenplay Crowned Lies (for Southern Gothic Storytelling with Jordan Morille) was an Official Selection and Best Screenplay winner at the Chicago FEEDBACK Film Festival. Kevin Bowman (MT ’26) was in A Night of Broadway with Kelli O’ Hara and Sutton Foster at the Dallas Symphony Or- chestra. Kevin Bowman (MT ’26) and Brooke Cox (MT ’26) were in A Chorus Line at the Palace Theatre. John Brown (Film Production ’26) interned with Vanishing Angle and was on set of The Edge of Normal starring Chloe Grace Moretz this summer.
