His efforts contribute significantly to strengthening comput- er science education at the early learning level. MiHyun Kim has been appointed as a contributing faculty member for this academic year at the Technology and Innovation Lab, Spark! at Boston University. The lab is situated within the faculty of computing and data science, focuses on technology and interdisciplinary innovation. She will be contributing to their ongoing design projects as well as the interdisciplinary design curriculum across its innova- tion courses. Dr. Adetty Pérez de Miles , presented two research papers at the 38th International Society for Education through Art (InSEA) World Congress, held July 21–25 in Olomouc, Czech Republic. Her presentations addressed decolonial theories that foreground language and culture in shaping gender identity and agency within Latina/e/o/x communities and examined Latinx Futurism in contemporary visual arts and cinema. Her work contributes to ongoing conversations in art education, contemporary art, gender studies, and pedagogical practices. • Dr. Adetty Pérez de Miles’s research was published in the September 2025 issue of Studies in Art Education , the leading journal in the field. Her article, “Disrespect- fully Latinx and Chicanx: The Languaging of Nonbina- ry, Trans, and People of Color,” contributes to critical discourse in art, art education and gender studies. (Full article here) Elvia Perrin will participate in the 100 Works on Paper Ben- efit 2025 exhibition at Kentler International Drawing Space in Brooklyn, NY. • Elvia Perrin has been selected for the Ironbridge Fine Arts Printmaking International Juried Competition (Online Exhibition), UK. • Elvia Perrin will have work in the Texas Vignette exhi- bition On the Levee, Dallas, TX, October 2–4.
